magic

Definition

Magic is the creation of various effects through non-concrete methods. That is, from various sources of power, the magic user can alter reality in different ways.

Magic can sometimes be effected by the environment. For example, on some planes, magic may be strengthened, weakened, or randomized. Magic does not work at all, however, in an anti-magic field.

There are three major sources of magic on the Material Plane: arcane, divine, and psionic.
