Lin Journal - Nudity and Portals
The following is the partial translation from Lin’s Journal. Her journal is written in a unique elven dialect which has proven difficult to translate properly.

Nudity and Portals
Oh what a couple of days. We’ve been zeroing in on our portal location the last couple days. We went north a bit to go check out Fontown, and despite what you’ve heard, it still is pretty darn dull. As a matter of fact, I highly doubt anyone would ever pay much attention to the village were it not for the invasion some time ago. We left there pretty much as clueless as when we had got there.
Heading south, we ran into some sort of black puddles that seemed to have acidic qualities to them. During this puddle skirmish, I managed to get splashed. Although my magical equipment did not get damaged, the acid decimated my clothing. As I felt all of my clothes fall to my ankles in tatters, I was aware that my group was getting the full view. Luckily I do still wear this ring to change my appearance. I quickly activated it to look normal, though I’m sure at this point I was red in the face. I certainly was feeling the extra breeze.
The next morning though, Garrett was able to mend my clothing and make it whole with one of his spells. Thats a good thing, I wouldn’t want to be running around naked the rest of the adventure less I find myself in an anti-magic field or in the presence of someone with true sight.
During my watch, the portal activated, and we were not quite ready to enter so we waited till daylight before we entered the portal. We did for a few moments consider the best way to approach the portal and eventually we just took a leap of faith and dove into it. We did somehow find ourselves on flat ground on the other side despite what we had heard.
We’ve been wandering around the plane which has a very dull and depressing feel to it. Grey skies, rusty sand, groan. We’ve found another portal in this expanding horizon though decided we shouldn’t just be jumping into every portal we find. I think we’re lost, I’ll write again when we find our way or night falls if it gets dark here at all.
