Lin Journal - Impersonations
The following is the partial translation from Lin’s Journal. Her journal is written in a unique elven dialect which has proven difficult to translate properly.

I asked Zain if he could send Miriam and Miach my way today. I needed to talk to them. Apparently he needed some of my help too. No surprise, here in Glacerin, I’m the one to go to for the intel. It seems they were looking for Jamie who was playing a show in the Noble District. I figured they were going to need help getting in since the noble district is pretty seriously guarded. I said I’d help them get in, I’m just that kind of helpful you know.
I thought today called for a little impersonation so I disguised myself as Aida. She still has a pretty decent reputation there despite her own actions. Aida is usually such a good sport about things like this. Word will leak to her eventually I suppose and we’ll just have to see how she takes it. It’s touch and go sometimes with that one. She’s got a mean streak, bred into her I imagine. If she ever gets a chance to read this, I’m sure she’ll have some choice additional words to impart upon me. Needless to say, her name is still good there for it got us inside the gates.
After we went to see Jamie which was maybe a little too excited to see me, we returned back to the inn in a section of town we all feel a little more comfortable with. It was then we got to talking about how they needed an acquisitions expert since Zain had to depart for business back in Yesel. I shared with them a desire I had to assist them with this latest project of theirs with the Pfft and Fontown attacks originating from the same plane and most likely orchestrated by the same creature. They were more than enthusiastic to accept me on with my tactical abilities to fulfill the role they were missing. Some were even a bit surprised that I would join them, after all they’ve for the most part been running around doing the Protector’s missions for many months. The desk job if I can call it that isn’t really as exciting as toppling empires, so maybe its time for some more action.
When I had a few moments to myself, I sent out some letters to get some other side things in order and to make arrangements for further meetings. I’m sure if I jump the Material Plane, I’m gonna lose touch with my network and so I have to make sure I’m still in the loop somewhat. We leave tomorrow at first light with, hopefully, all my business settled.
