Lin Journal - Crypt of Lazerus
The following is the partial translation from Lin’s Journal. Her journal is written in a unique elven dialect which has proven difficult to translate properly.

Crypt of Lazerus
So I’m told that we’re going to some crypt of a guy named Lazerus. Htaed has requested this trip for some reason. As far as what I could get from him, there isn’t even any significant magic item located there. He said there are “other reasons” for visiting the crypt that I wouldn’t “understand”. I may not be the most knowledgeable in the arcane arts he practices all the time but a little more insight wouldn’t be completely lost on me.
He did mention that we should expect a lot of undead creatures because undead are pretty easy to create and make excellent guards for crypts. This is beginning to sound like a real bad idea. I’ve learned long ago that even my sneaking about and striking at vital areas doesn’t have any effect on undead. Pretty much I’m reduced to just poking things with sharp blades that are already filled with holes and cuts. Uriel though seems excited about the prospect of vanquishing undead back into oblivion. He’s got some sort of personal vendetta against these abominations of life.
Well we came, saw, conquered. Whatever. It wasn’t profitable as I had guessed and my ineffective attacks against the creatures only served to irritate me the entire time we were there. I was able to find a couple traps for the party but even those weren’t all that special, run of the mill traps really. We found an interesting magical bracelet with some charms on it, but otherwise nothing else even piqued my interest. Maybe we’ll do something fun tomorrow.
