blackguard

Definition

Blackguards, or anti-paladins, like clerics, operate as intermediaries for their gods and goddesses. Their deities grant them divine magics to hurt and destroy. They have several special abilities including smite; they can also rebuke undead and command undead. Blackguard are warriors for their deities who strive to tear down the law, subjugate the weak, and defeat good wherever they go. Their preferred weapon is the unholy despoiler and their sworn enemy are the paladins.
