How’s the mainland expansion going?
Pretty good- we’ve got a couple of locations set up in some of the southern towns. Been a process in getting the interest in the towns- more success on the coastal settlements. The further inland we go- we’ll have to prove ourselves.

Prevailing theory of its location is the weapon has been passing from collector to collector. The latest owner was having it shipped to this location.

They point us to one of the temples and describe the rough location and a symbol on the side of the temple. A starburst with wings.

A priest of some sort with 3 or 4 dozen people sitting in the church.

I’ve recently had some of my property fall into the wrong hands. I have a particular amulet that one of my followers has, uh, gotten killed and it was stolen by a SOB and taken to his fortress.
Roughly between here and Firefeather- about halfway off the road.
Recover the property and kill everyone in the fortress. Not human, does have special powers.
Based on who pulled of the attack on my follower- probably not humans.
It has my symbol on it.
Pointed it out on a map.
Don’t trust anything that he says- he will have a lot of defense.
Her motivation is for – don’t believe anything she has said has been a lie.

Checked with C&C – no experience storming the castle.
Third day- hadn’t reached the turn off. Set up camp.

Couple of hours down the road- winds up the path to the entrance of a fortress.
Couple hundred feet down the spiraling path.
Garreth walked up and knocked on the metal door.
Two individuals appear on the top of the wall and attacked Garreth.
Peculiar looking humanoid with pale gray skin, face berefit of expression, gangly limbs.
50 foot high walls.

Looked at them- nothing useful.

Luckily, they opened the gate to attack us.

Wracked my brain- finding the mechanism to open the door.
After beating on it for a while with the portable ram, they flew open.
